GOSH Xtreme Liquid Gel Eye Liner
Okay, I'm gonna 'fess up here... I'm all over the place with my blog posts at the moment. I have a backlog of posts that need writing and yet I'm spending most of my time being a total Pinterest whore and getting diddly squat done. I need a life coach, or basically a more responsible adult to come in and get my shizz organised.
A couple of weeks ago I had a coffee date with a couple of friends and, (much to the despair of my other half) walked through the shopping centre on my way home and ended up with these beauties from GOSH:
If we're going to be formal, their official titles are the GOSH Xtreme Liquid Gel Eye Liners in shades 007, Lavender and 009, Turquoise.
I'm not usually one for bright, in yer face, makeup, but there's something about a colour pop eye liner that gives me the feels. Colour liners seem to be cropping up more and more, so I knew I simply had to get my hands on a couple to try.
I posted swatches of these on my Instagram a week or two ago, and you can totally see why I fell in love straight away:
The high-shine, metallic finish makes these swatches look almost watery, but believe me, they're not! They are fabulously pigmented and have real staying power on the lids. I've been double lining, pairing these with my Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink and neither outshines the other in terms of durability.
The applicators are useful in that you can get a really sharp, fine line with minimal effort, perfect if you're partial to a feline flick. As with any liquid liner, a steady hand is needed but I find if I prop my elbow up on my desk, I can, (usually) get a good ol' neat line.
At £5.99 a time, (via Superdrug) I would 100% recommend these to anyone looking to jazz up their Summer make up routine. The Xtreme Eye Liners are a total bargain and with several snazzy shades to choose from, there's sure to be something suitable for everyone!
What are your thoughts on the GOSH Xtreme Liquid Gel Eye Liners? Do you like wearing bright make up or are you a neutrals gal at heart?
