What's In My Z Palette?
A few things. Firstly, happy 4th of July to all of my American readers across the pond. Secondly, I'd be kidding myself if I acted like this was my one and only Z Palette, *whispers* I have four but this is a peek at what lives inside my favourites palette. My go-to and must-have shades that pretty much come with me wherever I go.
Spoiler alert - It's a whole bunch of neutrals.
You didn't expect anything less, right?
I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again, I love Inglot eye shadow singles. In my opinion, the pigmentation and quality is much higher than that of MAC's. The first four shimmer shades are, and I'm gonna say it, my ride or die shadows.
I've used them a tonne, although it doesn't show. You get a lot of product for your cash with Inglot shadows, just another reason why I think they're fab! My only critique is that I wish they would name their shades. I can never remember the numbers and I don't understand their numbering system either. As a result, I have accidentally bought duplicate shades on more than one occasion.
So annoying!
I have another Sephora single eye shadow in a glittery purple shade, and whilst I love it, it's Fashion Blogger that I reach for on more of a day to day basis.
The Benefit eye shadow set is harvested from the 2012 holiday set, She's So Jetset. It took me a considerable amount of effort to dig this out of the bulky packaging but it now fits perfectly in my Z Palette. I know, I know... It's a thousand years old and I'll maybe lose an eye whilst using it but it's technically vintage, plus the shades, (and formula) are just too beautiful to throw away
The last four shadows are all from Makeup Geek. I have several other MUG shadows but these are my most used. The foiled shade, Mesmerized is something else. So beautiful.
So, are we ready for a load of swatches?

Comparison Swatches. Left to Right - Inglot 402, Benefit Pretty in Mink and Sephora Fashion Blogger
Phew, that was a lot of swatching but I hope it's useful to see some of the shadows swatched side by side as I'm not sure if you're able to purchase the Benefit shades separately as it was a limited edition set - but also to show that they're not all entirely the same!
What are your thoughts on my favourites palette and what are some of your essential, every day eye shadows that you can't live without? Let me know what you think below.
