The Body Shop Lightening Shade Adjusting Drops - Create Your Perfect Foundation Shade

I'm going to make a bold statement and say that this product is exceptional. 
I have some pretty dodgy foundation shades in my collection, yes MAC NW25, I'm looking at you, and whilst the products themselves are great, I just can't see myself being that... aherm... orange again any time soon. So when The Body Shop released their range of Shade Adjusting Drops to lighten or darken existing foundation shades, I knew I needed to try them out. 
I opted for the Lightening drops as I have several foundations that are currently too dark for my skin tone. 

The drops are a milky, off white colour and have a slightly thicker than water consistency. The fact that the drops aren't stark white means that the existing foundation shade is lightened more naturally. You add one or two drops of the lightening fluid to your foundation, I like to dab my foundation on my face and then add a drop or two of the lightening fluid to my buffing brush to blend everything together on my skin, to create the perfect shade. 

What I love about these drops is that they don't drastically alter the coverage or wear of my foundation - they lighten without adding or taking anything away and for that reason, I think these are a fantastic product! They also take the stress out of finding your perfect foundation shade as you can use both the lightening and/or darkening drops to create a shade that is perfectly suited to you and your skin tone.

For anyone that has a couple of Dale Winton foundation shades sitting in their stash or for those that often struggle to find very fair foundation shades on the market, I feel like The Body Shop Lightening Shade Adjusting Drops could be a life-changer.
