Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

I should really be catching up on Bloglovin and replying to the backlog of blog comments that I haven't replied to yet, sorry, but here I am, about to embark on a declaration of love regarding the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

I hope you can forgive me.

I'll admit, I allowed myself to get swept along with the hype surrounding this face palette and it swiftly carved out a place at the top of my beauty wishlist. A speedy Boots dash later and it was mine - I also convinced my sister that she needed it too, 'cause I'm nice like that.

Despite containing three powder highlighters, a cream highlighter and a pointless, naff brush, the palette itself is surprisingly compact. The pretty, rose gold casing also holds a decent-sized mirror.

The four Solstice Highlighter shades are as follows:

Ecliptic is the only cream highlighter in the set and it gives a subtle, champagne glow. There are two baked highlighters, Hemisphere which is lavender toned and possibly the shade I use the least, and Equinox which is very much on a par with MAC Soft & Gentle, albeit slightly cooler in tone. I adore Equinox. Both baked highlighters apply beautifully and have excellent pigmentation.

Finally, there's Subsolar which is a soft, yellow highlight. This is the most beautiful formula which is the closest match to my much-loved BECCA Skin Perfector. It's silky smooth and blends flawlessly into the skin.

For the bargain price of a tenner, you really can't go wrong with the Sleek Solstice palette and, if you haven't tried it already, I would definitely suggest trying to get your hands on it. It's worth every penny.

Have you tried the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette? If so, what are your thoughts? Let me know what else I need to try from Sleek. I'm heading back to the UK in October and I need to start bulking out my Boots wishlist.
