Neutrogena Hydro Boost Skincare Range Review

If there's one thing that always grabs my attention, it's skincare that promises to inject moisture back into my tired, dry, air conditioned within an inch of its life, skin. So, when I was sent some of Neutrogena's new, Hydro Boost range to try out, I was more than a little bit thrilled to give it a go.

The Hydro Boost skincare line is designed to target dehydrated skin. It is formulated with hyaluronic acid to boost hydration, lock in moisture and leave skin feeling smooth and supple.

Hydro Boost Cleansing Facial Wipes - I know make up remover wipes can be quite polarising; however I love them and I always like to remove the majority of my make up with a wipe before going in with an additional cleansing product. These wipes are well-saturated with cleansing lotion and remove make up effortlessly. They're gentle on the skin and feel really refreshing. I have already used this entire pack but I will definitely be repurchasing as they are certainly some of the better facial wipes that I have tried.

Hydro Boost Micellar Water - I'll be honest, I'm not the most avid user of micellar waters. I find make up wipes to be easier and more effective, as well as being more travel-friendly; however this is a great option for those that prefer to cleanse and remove make up in this way. It removes make up effectively without being too harsh or drying on the skin.

Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser -  An innovative lightweight gel that activates with water to lather away dirt, oil and make-up while quenching skin with a boost of vital hydration. I've been loving using this stuff. The tiniest pump is all you need to give your skin a thorough cleansing. It removes all traces of make up and leaves skin feeling really clean and refreshed.

Hydro Boost Water-Gel Moisturiser - This lightweight, water-based and oil-free gel moisturiser is suitable for normal and oily skin types. It's perfect for day time use and underneath make up as the product sinks into the skin almost immediately - which is how I've mostly been using this moisturiser.

Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Moisturiser - I've saved the best until last. I'm just going to put it out there, I ADORE this moisturiser. If your skin leans more on the dry side, I highly recommend you try this out. The Gel-Cream formula is richer than the Water-Gel; however it is still incredibly lightweight and sinks into the skin for immediate hydration. In my opinion, this product is a major dupe for the Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Moisture Cushion Moisturiser, save the eye-watering price tag. When it comes to hydrating my skin, I feel like I'm always stuck between products that aren't moisturising enough or products that are so thick, they end up clogging my pores and causing breakouts. This is neither of those things. The Gel-Cream Moisturiser has quickly risen to nab a 'staple' spot in my skincare routine and I will hands-down be repurchasing this once this pot runs out.

So, my final thoughts on the Hydro Boost range from Neutrogena.

If you're a dry skinned girl or guy and are looking for an affordable, yet effective skincare range that is going to leave your skin looking and feeling refreshingly hydrated, plump and smooth, I'd highly recommend checking out this range. In all honesty, before I was sent these items to review, I hadn't used anything from Neutrogena in years and was a little unsure of what to expect. It's safe to say I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised. Way to go Neutrogena!
