MAC New Romance Blush

This was one of those blog post inspired purchases. You know how it goes, you read about it online and then you simply have to have it.

This time it was Leah's fault from Devoted To Pink. If you're reading this Leah, you were the excuse that I gave to my husband. Sorry. And also thank you because I feel it may be life-changing.

In short, I love it.

For lack of wanting to sound a bit lot like a broken record, I'll spare you the whole, 'peachy pinks are my thang' spiel. But it really is beautiful.

It's a Mineralize blusher with a semi-sheer yet buildable colour-payoff. This is very much a frosted blush with a warm, golden undertone to it. If shimmer blushes aren't for you, then you won't like this. Despite being a very smooth, silky powder, this will emphasise any texture you have on your face as is the norm for such products; however this isn't something that typically concerns me unless I'm having a god-awful skin day, in which case I grab something a little more matte.

With this on my cheeks, I forgo a highlighting powder because it doubles up as an illuminating highlight/blush and if I could, I'd jump right through the screen and sing the praises of this to you in person. It's one for the dewy/fresh-faced make up lovers. Perfect for Spring/Summer... yada yada

Buy it and thank me (and Leah) later!

What are your thoughts on the MAC Mineralize Blush in New Romance?

Have you tried any of MAC's blushes? Does this look like a shade you'd pick up/sell a family member for?
