Mini Body Shop Haul

Okay, confession time... I have only ever owned a handful of things from The Body Shop, and most of those purchases were SO long ago that I don't even remember what they were. I'm sure that knock at the door is the blogging police coming to revoke my title. *runs and hides*

I headed into store for a browse a few weeks ago and ending up walking away with this little lot...

Mini Body Shop Haul, Body Shop Drops Of Youth, Body Shop Face Mask, Body Shop review, Body Shop Pomegranate Toner review,

There was a 3 for 2 offer on the face-care ranges and so I decided it was the perfect time to invest. I've been really into face masks at the moment and after uhmming and ahhing for what Scott would describe as an unjustifiable amount of time, I settled on the Tea Tree Face Mask - for blemished skin, (I don't have blemished skin), (Okay, I currently have blemished skin but that's only because I ferociously attacked my face with a pair of tweezers the other day but I'm not even going to get into that one!) I'm not 100% sure if this is suitable for my skin type but it's such a lovely, refreshing mask. It tingles upon application and changes colour slightly as it dries; although it doesn't harden like a clay mask. I've used it three times already and I've barely made a dent in the pot so I imagine this stuff is going to last a while. The smell isn't my jam, but it's typically tea tree-y so I knew what to expect. Just an FYI.

Up next is the Pomegranate Invigorating Toner. I recently finished my second bottle of Liz Earle's Instant Boost Skin Tonic and as it isn't available, (that I know of) in Finland, I picked up this from Body Shop instead. I'm glad I did. I love it, well, as a far as anyone goes with loving a toner. It smells really good, not the usual strong, chemically smell that toners tend to have, no... this one hits the spot and does the job perfectly!

Now... saving the best til last... uhhh, I'm so excited by this one!

The obsession that I have developed with my face skin care is real. As soon as I spied the Drops Of Youth Concentrate sitting on the shelf, I was like - YES, GIVE IT TO ME! Hello youthful skin!

How do I describe what it is? Well, it's kind of like a serum, the girl described it to me as nourishment for your skin. It's enriched with plant stem cells and a whole host of other goodies to give your skin a youthful, radiant appearance, fighting those pesky signs of aging.

I'm just going to say it once - You need to buy this!

There, now that's out of the way, I'll tell you why. My skin has honestly never been better since I started using this. A couple of drops, massaged into the skin before applying your day/night cream is all you need. It's a thick, gel-like serum that is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves no sticky residue, just baby-bum soft skin in its wake. My skin actually looks like it's glowing. It looks fresh and healthy, and not in the least bit like I've face-planted a tequila shot at 4am.

I've been using it both morning and night, with barely a dent being made in my bottle. My only issue is that the pipette lid isn't the most functional, it could be better designed but I'm willing to gloss over that one for such a great product.

The Body Shop - take my money!
